Mr. Bhakkawat Bhasipol is the Planning and System Department Manager, Sourcing and Supply Management - SCG Paper, Thailand largest paper and packaging company with annual revenue of two billion USD. He has held the Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering and Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA). He has been working with SCG Paper for more than fourteen years. He started his career with SCG Paper as an Engineer at box plants and worked in several functions such as Business Analyst, Containerboard Export Sale Manager. Nowadays, he is in charge of formulating sourcing strategy for recovered paper, paper making chemical, and coal.

Chaz Miller is Director, Policy/Advocacy, for the National Waste & Recycling Association, a trade association for private sector haulers, recyclers, composters, and disposal companies. He has been involved in recycling since 1976 when he joined the Source Separation Program of the US EPA’s Resource Recovery Division. He has also worked for the Glass Packaging Institute. Miller has been a keynoter and speaker at recycling and solid waste conferences in the United States and Canada. He was a plenary session speaker at the United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development Waste Management Conference in Tokyo, February 2011. He writes “The Circular File”, an award-winning column for Waste 360 magazine. He was Chairman of the Board of the National Recycling Coalition and was President of the Maryland Recycling Network. He has testified at Congressional and state hearings on solid waste and recycling issues.

She is also the coauthor of RISI's upcoming study: The China Recovered Paper Market: A Comprehensive Analysis. Ms. Zhao holds a Master's degree in Resource Economics from University of Rhode Island.

Kevin Jiang is a project analyst of RISI’s special project team based in RISI Beijing office and responsible for executing pulp & paper market research, analyzing end-uses industry, preparing project proposal and writing reports on China graphic paper, packaging paper and board, recovered paper, tissue, dissolving pulp and textile fibers in different multi-client studies and single-client consulting work. Kevin has nearly 10 years experiences in China paper and packaging industry including 3 years experiences in consulting field. Before joining RISI, Kevin was working with Pacific Millennium Paper Group Ltd. as a sales & market supervisor. Prior to that, he worked at China National Pulp and Paper Research Institute as a researcher. Kevin Jiang has a bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering and Pulp and Paper Technology from Qilu University of Technology.

Ms. Liana Bratasida was born in Bandung, Indonesia, on 12 May 1951. She obtained her BSc in Entomology from the Bandung Institute of Technology, (1971-1974), a Diploma of Environmental Science and Technology from the Hydraulic Engineering Delft, the Netherlands (1978-1979) and M.Sc. in Environmental Biology from the Bandung Institute of Technology, (1985-1987). She started her career as a Researcher at the Cellulose Research Institute, Ministry of Industry; she was then promoted as a Director for Technical Development at the Indonesian Environmental Management Agency which is the Executing Agency of the Ministry of Environment. And later as Deputy Minister for Environmental Conservation of the Ministry of Environment (2002-2003) where she is very much involved in the multilateral environmental agreements ratified by Indonesia. From 2004 till 2011, she was assigned as Assistant Minister for Global Environmental Affairs & International Cooperation in the Ministry for the Environment . Since January 2012 she becomes the Executive Director of Indonesian Pulp and Paper Industry Association (APKI) .

He has six years experience in Recovered Paper Journal. In daily work, he collects original data regarding recovered paper market and analyzes the price fluctuation and the transitional amount of collection and consumption. As part of his work, he has visited many related companies not only in Japan nationwide but also in other earning countries. Recovered Paper Journal is founded in 1992, has been publishing an exclusive weekly magazine in Japan. It specializes in recovered paper market and follows the current pulp & paper industrial issues.

Portia Zhao joined the RISI Shanghai office in September 2006 and is a Senior Product Manager specializing in mill intelligence and cost benchmarking for the pulp and paper industry. Portia holds a Master degree of Engineering in Pulp and Paper Technology from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand; a Bachelor degree of Economics in International Economics and Trade, and a Bachelor degree of Engineering in Pulp and Paper Technology from the South China University of Technology. Prior to joining RISI, Portia was working with UPM–Kymmene (Changshu) Paper Industry Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, where she was Business Intelligence Analyst for China and the Asia–Pacific region. Portia has also two years of engineering experiences in Double A(1991) Public Co., Ltd. in Prachinburi, Thailand.

Ranjit Singh Baxi, is Founder Chairman of J and H Sales (International) Ltd., leading exporters of Recovered Fibre for recycling, operating across UK, Europe and the Far East. In 2001, the company received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise (International Trade).
In 2011 Mr Baxi was appointed Treasurer of the Bureau of International Recycling (BIR), prior to which he was President of the Paper Division from 2007-2013.
Mr. Baxi is a recognised expert in the recycling business, and is a major contributor to international trade journals.
He recently published an authoritative book “Recycling our Future – A Global Strategy” launched June 2014 at BIR Miami Convention.
Amongst many awards received, Mr. Baxi was honoured to be voted ‘Asian of The Year’ in 2008.
Mr Baxi has also held a number of Non-Executive directorships, including being a Board Director of Olympic Park Legacy Company.
A fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, FRSA, Mr Baxi holds a Bachelor of Science degree - BSc and a Master of Business Administration – MBA.

Ms. Tang Yanju, born in 1981, is Deputy Director of Business Department and Secretary General of Recovered Paper Branch at China Resource Recycling Association. She has a Master’s degree of Industrial Economics from Central University of Finance and Economics and a Certificate of Doctorial Training in Industrial Economics from Institute of Finance and Trade Economics, Chinese Academy of School Science and is an Intermediate Economist. In 2013, she held a leadership position for drafting Rules on the Classification of Recovered Paper (SB/T11058-2013) for the Ministry of Commerce. Tang is now working on the Rules on Establishment and Management of Waste Paper Distribution and Processing Center with the support from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Yao, Han

Han is responsible for managing all Asian paper packaging market analysis and forecasts, with a focus on the China containerboard & boxboard market as well as end-use econometric modeling. He writes RISI's Asian paper packaging reports, including monthly commentary as well as medium- and long-term forecast reports. Han is the lead author of the 2012 China Boxboard Study as well as Indonesia’s Packaging Paperboard Study. He also contributes to various multi/single client studies such as World Boxboard Study, World Sack Kraft and Wrapping Paper Study, China and Thai Packaging Paper Market Study, Oji Machine Glazed Paper Study, etc. Prior to joining RISI, Han worked as an Analyst at Copal Partners, a UK-based financial consulting firm, conducting economic analysis and business due diligence for a wide variety of industrial projects. He also worked as an assistant researcher for the Washington State Dept of Commerce between 2007 and 2008. Han has a Master's degree in Economics from Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University, New York. He also holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematical Economics from Pacific Lutheran University, Tacoma, Washington.
